Post Hawai’i, On to First Event!
I was on a back road on the big island (Hawai’i), O’o’a’a (Ke’au), and stopped to take this picture. A beautiful lehua (lay-hoo-a) on a dirt trail.
I think going back to where I needed to be really helped me. I was craving a sort of reset, something that would help me feel a little bit more normal. The moment I went back to the Homestead and saw all of my family, I immediately felt like I was meant to be there. After how rough 2025 was, I was just yearning to feel like I belonged somewhere— like I had a purpose. I met an aunty at a tiny hole in the wall coffee shop and talked to her for an hour randomly, she offered me a job. Another aunty at a farmers market told me I should move back home. I mean, is that a sign? Am I still believing in fate? The answer is, yes, I believe in fate, but I need to have enough money for something like that. Anyway, after my reset, I feel the most in tune with myself than I have in a super long time. Time to take that energy and invest that into my ArtScene event. Come check it out if you can! :) See ya on the flip side!
